| The origin of this diamond brooch with what seems to be floral motif is uncertain. It was originally a diamond bracelet that belonged to Queen Wilhelmina. In 1898, for one of her first official portraits as Queen, Wilhelmina was wearing this particular bracelet. Queen Juliana and especially Queen Beatrix have worn it regularly. In many cases pinned to a sash. In recent years also Princess Maxima was seen wearing this lovely diamond brooch. |
