| Queen Beatrix owns a delicate brooch with with five diamond set flower petals and at the center a single sapphire. It was most probably a gift from the Dutch Federation of Gold and Silver to then Princess Beatrix as a 21 birthday present. The sapphire is her birthstone. This particular sapphire originates from Sri Lanka. |
