| Queen Juliana received this impressive diamond studded watch as a National Present for her 50th birthday in 1959. All 275 diamonds used in the Platinum watch were cut by the Dutch diamond cutter Ben Meier from Coster Diamonds in Amsterdam. Queen Juliana has worn the watch frequently up to the 1970's. Queen Beatrix has never worn her mother's watch. Fortunately Princess Maxima has discovered it and was recently seen wearing it. |
