Second setting Mellerio Sapphire Tiara

This delicate tiara frame topped with 11 large diamonds was described as a second setting of the Mellerio Sapphire Tiara.  The tiara with the all diamond setting was first seen in 2004 on Princess Mabel when she married the second son of Queen Beatrix, Prince Johan Friso. A pair of matching earrings accompanies this latest addition to the collection. Princess Maxima has worn the tiara twice recently. She seems to appreciate it.
